Here’s the 35th photo from the bundle of Batley St. Mary of the Angels school photos I’ve been given. I have been sharing them over the past few months in the hope people might enjoy seeing them, recognise themselves, school friends or family members, and be able to put names to faces.
Rather than a class photo, this is the victorious St. Mary’s gala swimming boys’ team of 1963 (the girls’ team also won the local schools’ contest that year, and they are on Photo No33.)
With thanks to everyone who put names forward and supplied information, the boys are:
