Mr. John M Casey. Trained. Certificated (14/2126) commenced duties as Assistant Teacher.
Temporary Time-Table adopted owing to addition to staff.

School closed at 11.45 a.m. and re-opened at 1.15 p.m. Closed at 3.15 p.m. These arrangements were sanctioned by Education Committee to enable the staff to attend the lecture given by Sir John McClure, Headmaster of Mill Hill School.

The school swimming team succeeded in winning the Talbot Shield. Second and third prizes were awarded for the fastest schoolboy swimmer.

7th Oct.
School Team left school at 3 p.m. to play League Football match at Healey.

During the week Stds. VI & VII. spent 8 hrs. on School Allotment.
