  1. Hello Jane
I am originally from Batley and along with my siblings went to St.Mary’s.
I have been diving in and out of my family history and have just about taken my searching as far as I think I need.
However,I have one stumbling block,I have a photograph of my paternal grandfather in his 1st WW army uniform.I have been unable to identify his cap badge.
I am unable despite writing to several English regiments and enquiring at The National Archive.
Is it possible for me to send you a copy of this photo for you try and identify?
His wife was originally from Co.Mayo.
Would this information help you with your search into WW1 survivors.
I also have a miscellany of photo’s of events at St.Marys which you also might find of interest.
Thank you for taking the time to read my message,

    Regards
    Ralph Brazil
