1917, 23 June – Batley News

This week’s round-up of pieces from the Batley News was restricted to one court case, as follows:

TO-DAY’S BATLEY POLICE.
For being drunk and riotous on the 11th inst., Michael Hodgins, miner, 17, Villiers Street, was fined 5s.

I have put his name in bold because Michael did undertake wartime military service.
